Who we are

AR Networking & Co (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) to inform you of the terms and conditions for using our website (the “Site” or “www.dor-app.com”) or app (the “App”), collectively called “Dor” or “Dor: All Strings Attached”, and any services provided by us through the Site or the App (the “Services”).

This Terms of Service is published in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

We provide you with dating and matrimony services (online and offline) and associated services through our App, Site and third-party apps and sites.

Acceptance of Terms of Service

In order to use our Services, you must register as a member on the Site or the App. This Agreement is an electronic contract that establishes the legally binding terms you must accept to use Dor and to become a “Member.” For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Member” means a person who voluntarily submits information to Dor whether such person uses the Services as a free member or a paid member and User shall mean a person who actively uses Dor to promote his/her profile for matchmaking purposes.

By using Dor, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App or the Site.

By using Dor, you consent to submit your personally identifiable information including sensitive personal data such as your financial data if opted for our paid membership, and use the said information to provide the Services and to contact you by other Members. If you have any objection to collecting/processing your personal data, we advise you not to register with us.

If you want to withdraw this consent or if you have any objection to the continuous collection or storage of your personal details, you must discontinue using our Services and delete your account by sending an email from your registered email ID to [email protected].

This Agreement is an electronic document in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rules there under pertaining to electronic records as applicable and amended. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

Eligibility

To use the App, you must be at least 18 years old. For marriage mode, if you are a male user then you must be at least 21 years old. You must also agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using Dor, you represent and warrant that you have the right, consent, authority, and legal capacity to enter into this Agreement; submit relevant information to us; and that you are not prohibited or prevented by any applicable law for the time being in force or any order or decree or injunction from any court, tribunal or any such competent authority restraining you from entering into a relationship or matrimony, whichever is applicable.

You further confirm that if use the marriage mode, you intend to seek a life partner and that you shall not use this mode for casual dating or for any commercial use. You also agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and use the Services in conformity with all applicable laws. If at any time we are of the opinion (in its sole discretion) or have any reason to believe that you are not eligible to become a member or that you have made any misrepresentation, or violated any provisions of the Terms of Service, applicable laws, we reserve the right to forthwith terminate your membership and/or your right to use the Services without any refund to you of any of your unutilized subscription fee.

By using Dor, you acknowledge that the user profiles shown to you by the system are based on the partner preference details submitted by you in your profile.

Term and Termination

This Agreement will be effective, valid and subsisting as long as you use Dor.

You may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason, by deleting your profile from Dor or writing to us at [email protected]. In the event you terminate your membership, you will not be entitled to a refund of any unutilized subscription fees, if any, paid by you, except where otherwise guaranteed in writing.

We may terminate your access to Dor and/or your membership for any reason including but not limited to the breach of the terms of use, using the Services for commercial purposes, engaging in prohibited or inappropriate communication or activity, by sending notice to you at the email address as provided by you in your application for membership or such other email address as you may later provide to Dor. If we terminate your membership for breach of the terms of this Agreement, you will not be entitled to any refund of any Subscription fees, if any, paid by you.

Your account

To use the App, you must create an account. You agree that the information provided by you for creating or updating your account is accurate/true and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account information up-to-date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the login credentials you designate during the registration process, and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any disclosure or unauthorized access/use of your account or any other breach of security, and ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session.

Your use of Dor

You agree to use the App for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the App to:

Create or maintain multiple accounts
Impersonate another person
Post or transmit any content that is illegal, hateful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable
Violate the intellectual property rights of others
Transmit any viruses or other malicious code
Interfere with the operation of the App or any other user’s use of the App
Use any automated processes, including IRC Bots, EXEs, CGI or any other programs/scripts to view content on or communicate / contact / respond / interact with Dor and/or its members.
Do any activities which are illegal.

We reserve the right to take appropriate steps to protect Dor and/or its Members from any abuse/misuse as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion.

Content posted on Dor

You understand and agree that we may delete any content, communication, photos or profiles (collectively, “Content”) that in our sole judgment violate this Agreement or which might be offensive, illegal, or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of either Dor and/or its Members.

You understand and hereby agree that all information, data, text, photographs, graphics, communications, tags, or other Content whether publicly posted, privately transmitted or otherwise made available to us are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated and shall be at the member’s/person’s sole risks and consequences. We do not control the Content posted via the Services and, as such, do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. We advise you to independently verify the content /information posted by the other members before acting upon the same and under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Services.

We reserve the right to check the authenticity of Content posted on the Site. In exercising this right, we may ask you to provide any documentary or other form of evidence supporting the Content you post on the Site. If you fail to produce such evidence to our satisfaction, we may, in its sole discretion, terminate your Membership without a refund.

The following is an indicative list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited on the Site. We will investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this Agreement, including without limitation, removing the offending communication/Content from the Services and terminating the Membership of such violators without a refund. Illegal and prohibitive Content includes Content which:

is blatantly offensive to the community, such as Content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
involves the transmission of unsolicited mass messaging or “spamming”;
promotes information that you know is false, misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libellous;
promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person’s copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
contains restricted or password-only access pages, or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from another accessible page)
displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; and
engages in commercial activities and/or sales without our prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, and pyramid schemes
threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other nation
impersonate another person;
deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;

You must use the Services in a manner consistent with any and all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations.

You cannot include in your Member profile, visible to other members, any telephone numbers, street addresses, URLs, and email addresses.

Copyright Policy

You cannot post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.

Without limiting the foregoing, if you believe that your work has been copied and posted on Dor in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with the following information:

an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the App or the Site;
your address, telephone number, and email address;
a written statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Notice of claims of copyright infringement can be sent to us at the address under the “Contact Us” section on the site.

Your interaction with other members & member disputes

You are solely responsible for your profile/communications with other Dor Members. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members. We also reserve the right to take appropriate action against errant members. However, we are not obliged to share such action with other members, including complainants. We expressly disclaim any responsibility or liability for any transactions or interactions between the members inter-se.

Non-commercial use by members

Dor is for the personal use of individual members to advertise and promote their profiles for the purpose of generating accepts from relevant matches and cannot be used in connection with any commercial purposes. This includes providing links to other websites, whether deemed competitive to Dor or otherwise. Organizations, companies, and/or businesses cannot become Members of Dor and should not use it for any purpose. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of Dor, including unauthorized framing of or linking to Dor will be investigated, and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.

Privacy Policy

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to review the activity and status of each account and block access to the member based on such review.

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to restrict/suspend your access to Dor based on a review of the member’s activity, status or any such criteria we may deem fit and proper with due intimation to you.

We reserve the right to screen your communications and profile that you may send to other Member(s) and also regulate the same by deleting unwarranted/obscene communications/profiles at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice to any Member.

Safe Dating Tips

Dor Members are expected to exercise simple precautions for their privacy and safety. A suggestive guideline of such precautions is enlisted under security tips “Safe Dating Tips”. By becoming a Member, you hereby agree to read, abide and adhere to the said tips.

Communications to you

You hereby confirm that you do not have any objection to receiving emails, SMS/WhatsApp messages and calls from us as long as you are a registered member of Dor including SMS permission for authenticating mobile verification and transactions via OTP. This consent shall supersede any preferences set by you with or registration done with the Do Not Disturb (DND Register)/ National Customer Preference Register (NCPR).

By becoming a Member of the Dor, you agree to receive marketing and other emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time for any reason quickly and easily by clicking on the unsubscribe link enclosed in the mail.

Our rights

We reserve the right to:

Suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason
Remove any content from the App that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable
Modify these Terms at any time without notice

Proprietary rights in the content on the App and Site

AR Networking & Co owns and retains all proprietary rights in the Site and the App. Dor contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, and other proprietary information owned by us or our licensors. Except for that information which is in the public domain such as a member profile or for which permission has been obtained from the user, you cannot copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, or sell any such proprietary information. Any such act or an attempted act on your part shall constitute a violation of this Agreement and your membership is liable to be terminated forthwith by us without refund of any of your unused Subscription fees. We reserve the right to take legal action (civil and/or criminal) wherever applicable for any violations.

Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on Dor or in connection with our Services, whether caused by Users, Members or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in our Services nor for the conduct of any User and/or Member, whether online or offline.

We assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, User and/or Member communications or any communications by us to the Members.

We are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Users and/or Members or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting and/or in connection with our Services.

Under no circumstances will we be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone’s use of Dor and/or any Content posted on Dor or transmitted to Dor Members. You should not provide your financial information (for example, your credit card or bank account information), or wire or otherwise send money, to other Members.

The exchange of profile(s) through or by Dor is not a matrimonial offer and/or recommendation from/by Dor. We shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any individual arising out of, or subsequent to, any relations (including but not limited to matrimonial relations) established pursuant to the use of our Services.

The App and the Site are provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. We cannot guarantee and do not promise any specific results from the use of Dor. You understand that we make no guarantees, either express or implied, regarding compatibility with individuals you meet through Dor. We do not warrant that the App or the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We expressly disclaim any liability or responsibility whatsoever and howsoever arising as a result of any Content posted on Dor / made available to us by any Members or the Users or any third party.

We do not assume any responsibility or liability for any illegal Content posted on Dor by any Members, users or any third party.

All liability, whether civil or criminal arising out of any Content that is posted on Dor will be of that Member / User / Third-party who has posted such Content and we reserve our right to claim damages from such Member/ User / Third-party that it may suffer as a result of such Content posted on Dor. We do not claim ownership of the Content you submit or make available for inclusion on Dor.

Third-party Terms of Service

You may be required to agree to the terms of service of third-party providers in order to use certain features of the App or the Site. By using such features, you agree to be bound by the terms of service of those third-party providers. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party websites or services.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Our liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us, for the Service during the term of membership.

Governing law

If there is any dispute about or involving the Site, App and/or the Service by using Dor, you unconditionally agree that all such disputes and/or differences will be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Competent Courts in Delhi, India only.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and other partners and employees, fully indemnified and harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of these Terms of Services and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above and/or any fraudulent act on your part.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

All notices and other communications under these Terms shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly given when delivered in person or delivered at the following address:

Compliance with the law

We comply with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 by:

Obtaining consent from users before collecting and processing their personal data
Providing users with access to their personal data and the ability to correct or delete it
Taking reasonable measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or modification
Reporting any data breaches to the appropriate authorities within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make any changes, we will post the updated Terms on the App and the Site. Your continued use of the App or the Site after the updated Terms have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
